Jewish Learning
Jewish learning is independent. Finding a teacher, mentor, of study partner is the result of the fellow's own self-interest. I chose to do weekly study with a fellow JCSC on Friday mornings (when we remembered!) but there are quite a few Jewish professionals and educators that could be a great resource should you chose to explore a little! There are also welcoming families who have hosted me for Shabbats. This was a great chance to have a family centered Shabbat...a change from the norm. I encourage you to use the year for your own Jewish development. There is something nice about sneaking away from the office for an hour to learn on your own. Even if you can't find a study partner, we have an extensive library with many different types of books. Look into it!
